The Legend of Quick Sort

In the ancient archives of the Knowledge Citadel, the archivists discovered a terrible truth: information without order is just noise. Quick Sort was created as a test of hierarchical understanding — can you not only know facts, but know how they relate to each other in sequence?

A list of items appears before you — jumbled, shuffled, randomized. Your task is to drag them into the correct order. Timeline events, quantities, rankings, processes — anything that has a natural sequence becomes a Quick Sort challenge.

The most feared Quick Sort battles are the historical timelines — where warriors must arrange civilizations, inventions, and battles across thousands of years from memory alone. Many have tried. The Citadel's records show the ones who succeeded became the greatest strategists.

  • For dates, think in centuries before narrowing to decades

  • For quantities, estimate relative sizes before committing
